Tim Chen is a lecturer (assistant professor) at School of Software, University of Technology Sydney (UTS). He is currently affiliated with the center of Computational Intelligence & Brain Computer Interface (CIBCI). Before that, he worked with Prof. Patrick Baudisch and Prof. Takeo Igarashi. He received his PhD from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan in 2012, advised by Li-Yi Wei and Chun-Fa Chang.

Tim’s research fields are mainly human computer interaction and computer graphics. In particular, he is interested in enhancing artists and makers’ workflow of digital content creation and 3D fabrication.
